A QUIETER WAY TO UNDERSTAND COFFEE.
Ground & Gauge
TOOL 01 / MEASURE

Your recipe, scaled.

Filter ratios calculate input water. Espresso ratios calculate beverage output. Choose the method before using the result.

How to read the result.

The calculation is dose × ratio. For filter brewing, 20 g × 16 = 320 g of input water. For espresso, 18 g × 2 = 36 g of beverage yield. Neither result is a caffeine estimate. Filter beverage weight will differ from input water because the grounds retain liquid.

The defaults are illustrative starting points. Your brewer, basket, coffee and preferences determine the recipe that works for you.
