How we choose & explain equipment

The evidence should be easier to inspect than the sales pitch.

Start with the reader’s task

Each buying brief starts with a brewing method, serving size, space and budget. We compare only products that can plausibly perform that job. Commission availability is not a reason to broaden a recommendation beyond the intended use.

Separate facts from observations

Specifications come from dated manufacturer documentation for the exact model and market. Ease of use, noise, cleaning effort and repeatability need original observations. We label the evidence type so a product document does not silently become a hands-on verdict.

Before a tested recommendation

A future test must record the model, acquisition or loan terms, method, dates, conditions and limitations. Product images used as evidence must be real and appropriately licensed. Comparisons need sufficiently similar conditions to support the conclusion. There are no fabricated star ratings on this site.

Describe the cost honestly

We consider recurring supplies, compatibility and maintenance alongside purchase cost. Prices or availability are shown only when their source and update process are established. At present, this preview has no live affiliate product offers or verified price feed.

Keep the incentives visible

Any qualifying commercial link will be disclosed near the relevant recommendation and marked appropriately. Affiliate availability must not determine whether an otherwise useful noncommercial resource is linked. Material changes and corrections should be dated.
