Identify the exact equipment
Record the model and keep the official manual link with it. Different revisions can use different cleaning cycles or components. When a machine prompts you for a procedure, follow the applicable manual rather than a generic sequence from another device.
Separate the jobs
Removing coffee residue, removing mineral buildup and replacing a worn seal are different tasks. A product sold for one job should not automatically be used for another. Follow specified products, concentrations and rinse instructions.
Keep a dated note
Use a small record with the date, procedure, product and any part replaced. Note a recurring problem so you can describe it clearly to support. This record is more useful than assuming every household needs the same calendar interval regardless of use and water.
Stop when the procedure does not fit
Do not improvise disassembly, apply force to pressurized components or wash electrical parts. If a procedure or warning is unclear, ask the maker or an appropriate service provider. The aim is reliable maintenance, not completing a checklist at any cost.
